Easter
Show me your Basket.....

I was just in Walgreens last night and hellish Walmart over the weekend....Man do they have a butt loads of Easter stuff! Walmart had about 5 LONG isles of stuff.....Holidays have gotten so out of control....No complaints though as I love to go up and down the isles and look at all the pretty stuff....I am so like that.....So I got some egg color kits and decided I need to have a egg color party on Friday night....I hope it cheers me up as things have been kinda dim with some family stuff going on....I will elaborate more on that later.
So my wonderful mom aka the Easter bunny....used to make us these really nice Easter baskets when we were growing up....They were NEVER store bought EVER and they were filled and huge....So we sure had a awesome bunny visit us every Easter.....She would fill it up with all this stuff she knew we would enjoy. She would wrap it all up in that pretty color cellophane stuff (Purple was my favorite)....I would wake up on Easter morning and go kinda giddy every year.....I would open my eyes ever so slowly and then see this BIG basket shimmering in the early light dusk of morning....I would take it to the parlor (what most people now call the living room) and then wait as my sisters and brother would wake.....Then before we could unwrap these monster sized baskets......my parents would have to take a picture of the 4 of us sitting there with our baskets first...I should try to post one of them- Talk about the Brady bunch on Easter morning! Gosh we were so good and very patient.....I now see kids and they just go ballistic...forget the Rubik's cube.....Nice I pod and cell phone and x box in your basket Austin! I love kids but man am I happy I just have dogs.....
So as we grew up the items in the basket changed...From coloring books, toys and candy to more toys and candy to teen stuff like underarm deodorants, gels, puzzles, socks, undies, cassette tapes and candy......My sisters would get those giant Bonnie Bell lip balm packs and I would secretly wish I would of got some too....Watermelon was my fave....My sister never missed it from her 10 pack....ha! So my mom and I was chatting about it this weekend and she mentioned how my dad couldn't believe she made baskets for us kids till we left home...19 years old and the Easter bunny still left me a basket next to my bed for me to go giddy about...... I wonder what she would put n my basket now? I should of asked her, she was so creative and cool.....
So maybe my husband will make me a basket this year....hint hint.....I can see it now maybe filled with some porno DVDs, wet lube, and maybe some gift cards to I tunes and such, and even maybe my favorite Cologne-- though not Jovan Musk or Chaps by Ralph Lauren (my old faves back in high school--my mom would put these in my basket back then) oh..... and don't forget the candy!!!!! Some Cadbury Mini Eggs and some Recess Peanut Butter Eggs please as I have already ate one bag I bought over the weekend and I have starting on the second bag that was stashed for the egg coloring party...oops!!!

Ashton Kutcher
In V Man Mag...

I like Ashton...Saw this on E last night so had to share--Ashton is in VMan Magazine... He is out promoting his movie Spread...Looking at these pics reminded me that Ashton got his start as a male model…I think he should do more of it as he looks hot... Loving Ashton in a pair of whitey tighties. Here's a few snippets from the interview.

On the concept for the photo shoot:
"I had a vision one day. I was watching one of those Gatorade commercials where they had a guy on a treadmill, and they're testing to see what his physical abilities are. I had this idea: what did the creator—God or whatever—make you for? Maybe we're all doing exactly what we're supposed to be doing, and we're all actually robots."
On getting around before settling down: "I had a serial-dating period. I was pretty abusive of my attributes for a while...My fame and my looks. I was pretty abusive to a lot of people. This movie Spread is kind of my way to say I'm sorry to a lot of girls I may have hurt by being disrespectful."
What Ashton had to say about filming with Michelle Pfeiffer and life with Demi
On his love scenes with Michelle Pfeiffer: "I don't think I've ever romanced an older woman. I've romanced a woman...If I had stepped back as myself and said, 'You're going to work today to make love to Michelle Pfeiffer,' that would freak me the f*ck out. I would have been like, 'Holy sh*t!' I would have had a really awkward time doing that. So I just approached it from within the character's world—just one character seeking comfort from another character, a compartmentalized existence that wasn't my own."
On living the sweet life: "My life is so far from domesticated. That is not a good definition of me at all. Demi and I play around the world, and that is awesome. I was just on the phone with my agent and he said to me, 'I don't know many people who have it as good as you have it.' And I don't know anyone who has it as good as I have it. I have a great spiritual foundation, an amazing career, a loving, supportive wife and family, I have a lot of friends, and I don't have any enemies. I don't know a lot of people who have what I have."

Say What?
Woman Takes Two-Year Toilet Break

Woman sat on boyfriend's toilet for 2 years! From the Wichita Eagle
A 35-year-old woman who apparently spent two years in her boyfriend's bathroom in Ness City had become stuck to the toilet seat, authorities said Wednesday.
"She was not glued. She was not tied. She was just physically stuck by her body. It is hard to imagine. ... I still have a hard time imagining it myself," Ness County Sheriff Bryan Whipple said in a telephone interview, adding that it appeared her body fat had grown attached to the seat.
Authorities planned to present their report to the county attorney later Wednesday to see if any charges should be filed against her 36-year-old boyfriend, Whipple said.
The boyfriend called police on Feb. 27 to report that "there was something wrong with his girlfriend," Whipple said, adding he never explained why it took him two years to call.
He said the boyfriend had brought the woman food and water during the two years and told investigators he asked her daily to come out of the bathroom.
"And her reply would be, 'Maybe tomorrow,'" Whipple said. "According to him, she did not want to leave the bathroom."
The house had another bathroom he could use.
Police found the clothed woman sitting on the toilet, her sweat pants down to her mid-thigh as if she was using the toilet. Her legs looked like they had atrophied, he said.
"She was sitting on the toilet and was somewhat disoriented," Whipple said. "She said that she didn't need any help, that she was OK and did not want to leave."
She refused emergency medical services but was finally convinced by responders and her boyfriend that she needed to be checked out. She was taken to Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita, where she is listed in fair condition. Whipple said she has refused to cooperate with medical providers or law enforcement investigators.
"We pried the toilet seat off with a prybar and the seat went with her to the hospital," Whipple said. "The hospital removed it."
Authorities said they did not know if she was developmentally disabled.
Police have declined to release the couple's names, but the house where authorities say the incident happened is listed in public records as the residence of Kory McFarren. No one answered his home phone number.
A neighbor, James Ellis, told The Associated Press that he had known the woman since she was a child but said he had not seen her for at least six years.
He said she had a tough childhood after her mother died at a young age and apparently was usually kept inside the house as she grew up.
"It really doesn't surprise me," Ellis said of the bathroom incident. "What surprises me is somebody wasn't called in a bit earlier.
At one time the woman worked for a long-term care facility, he said, but he did not know what kind of work she did there.
The case has been the buzz of this western Kansas town.
"I don't think anybody can make any sense out of it," Ellis said.

American Idol

My fast recap...

Kristy Lee Cook gave the worst performance this season! Or maybe in many seasons! Chikezie rocked it and was majorly praised by the judges with his performance. Fillipina cutie Ramiele Malubay may be the one going home tomorrow though, she has a nice voice but bad song choice made it super duper borino!

And finally, the biggest shocker was poor baby boy David Archuleta who choked under the pressure. Poor dear forgot his words...The rest of them did pretty good......but your guess is as good as mine.......
Goodbye to Kristy Lee Cook-- Sorry Selma Oregon gal...but you are my pick to go home......back to your beautiful town of 500....Sorry but your performance was the worst ever! YUCK! It would of been 100% better slowed down but still country.

Jason Castro-- good job dude!-- same dreamy style but do watch out you may get stuck in a style rut! Was I the only one that saw all the BUGS and FLIES spinning around the back side of his DRED HAIR having a frenzy in his interview? I know some of you caught that last night!....Please Jason for the 3rd time please think about getting rid of that thing! Bugs are wanting to nest in that sucker..

Chikezie....WHO KNEW? TERRIFIC!!!!..Chi rocked the house.....I loved it--Maybe now you will build a fan base dude!

Carly Smithson and David Archuleta- I am predicting early-- this is my final 2 picks...but you never know......one of them rocker boys or that rocker gal might come up the backside if David cant keep it together! But Carly should be in the final.....Go David go!

last note.......any one notice all the feedback on last nights episode as well? At one point it sounded like Paula passed a big fartolla! And man was the gay vibe big last night with the exchanges with all of them razzing each other-innuendos up the ying yang was flying....I bet Ryan would like to wear those high heel shoes! He was kinda flabbergasted too!

Trousersnake
A Close Up

As you all know, I'm a big Justin Timberlake fan. JT does some super music and gives a great concert. He also makes me laugh like mad when hes guest spots on shows like SNL and such. He is a great talented musician slash entertainer that's for sure! But Trousersnake isn't always drop dead gorgeous in my eyes...Hes just one of those guys that looks really hot 50% of the time and the other 50% he is just well so so....But looking at this close up of him from Monday night brings him back to that hot 50% of the time for me at least...Look a that face.....totally my type!.......makes me think of 2 songs.....All Night Long- By Lionel Ritchie and I Want To Kiss You All Over by Exile......LOL....well maybe change the last one to I want to lick you all over.....Slurp! click em they grow if you like....

Congrats Madge!!
Rock And Roll Hall of Fame(r)!

Madonna got the recognition she deserves at last night’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Justin Trouesrsnake presented Madge with her award, while Iggy Pop performed his own renditions of Madonna’s hits, like “Burnin’ Up! Gosh she brings me back to the time I came out in 85....I can still see us grooving to her first song Holiday - We fellas were listening to this song in the club--underage club in Seattle called the MONASTERY---which by the way still had RAIDS from the cops in the 80's!....anyhow..... and we all thought she was a black gal! and then Borderline hit and she became an instant hit and now shes a icon.....I cant wait for her new work in Hard Candy! I LOVE YA MADGE!!!

Last Nights Idol Boys
My take

Jason Castro performed “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen-- Nice voice on this fella eh? So very smooth and hes a VERY likable guy too-- you can just tell hes a sweetie.....That fricken hair still has to go- But I do wonder if its his lucky charm? Again he would be so Zac Efron if he got rid of it!
Michael Johns performs “Don’t You Forget About Me” - It was good--He rocked it out....I think he should stay a little longer....I hope he does as he is nice to watch ....He still reminds me of Heath Ledger......Those sexy Australians.....Did anyone happen to catch the wife and "FRIEND"-- Who's the friend? Now he was quite the HOTTIE!

Luke Menard performed “Wake Me Up Before You Go Go” and what a dum dum, as it was another poor song choice, which unfortunately just determined Lukeys fate on Thursday. Goodbye Luke....Such a cutey of a dum dum too-- so sad! I think Paula choreographed the original Wham version? She was babbling about the 2 toned Dolphin shorts....Gosh do you remember those 2 toned and striped Dolphin shorts? Man those were the cool shorts too circa 1981! Ok now I am babbling....

David Archuleta performed “Another Day in Paradise” by Phil Collins-- As usual it was super perfect and awesome-- hes in the top 2 no matter what as Simon comments......I concur...He did however come across as not so perfect this week-- had a few pitch probs.....but who cares.......he has that voice like an angel....

David Hernandez performed “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” by Meatloaf....David might OF BEEN a stripper but who cares-- does it really matter? David sang his heart out and I liked it! He deserves another week as he sings well! Go stripper go!

David Cook performed “Hello” by Lionel Richie ..It was really great- A great rocking version of it and as usual he has that awesome rocker voice......I really get the vibe that he will go on to be quite a famous fella....In his own band and such .....He wont be an Idol.....but who cares really.....he has so many fans and it can only get better for this cute rocker boy.

Chikezie performed “All the Man (woman) that I Need” by Whitney Houston ....Chick has a really nice voice but......I just don't know......maybe its that he is such a a big bore... sorta a snooze you know......Just like his most embarrassing moment clip about the restroom...boring!.....Guy has no no charisma what so ever.....Sorry Chick....

Danny Noriega performed “Tainted Love”--I love this guy...Has he grown on you too?.....Watch all his videos on you tube-- this boy can really sing....I love this little fem bot.....I hope he goes a long way so we can enjoy this funny talent....I think he has a great future for sure in the some area of the entertainment industry realm......He may not be the Idol.....But what a great launch pad for this lad....Love ya Danny!

Meet The Kids...
Alika/Maile and Mama

Alika and Maile - Alika and his sister Maile....

Alika- (A-Lee-ka)Hawaiian form of Alex and Alexander- Defender of Mankind

Maile (MY-LEE)-The maile vine", appearing as four sweet-scented sisters in legend. pronounced MY-lĕ) Alyxia oliviformis ("chain resembling olive") is a flowering vine in the family Apocynaceae that can be found in native forests of the Hawaiian Islands. Maile grows on a vine with green oval pointed leaves. The leaves have a strong vanilla-like fragrance. Maile grows in cool moist climates with indirect sunlight. At one time, the maile lei was reserved for traditional use by Hawaiian royalty and commoners were not allowed to wear this special lei, but today it is the lei of choice for a bride and groom to wear in a Hawaiian wedding ceremony.

and our lovely kitty Miss Mama Mia...........
More Dreaming.......
John and Olivia and Puppies?

I have been dreaming alot lately.....I have a theory on why but will go into that later....
This is our dear friend Val and I. Or as some of us call her E VAL. She is my partner when I get nice and toasted and think I can sing. Every boy needs a duet partner and she is it and the best ever! We really like to belt out the power love ballads- Anyhow, I had a dream last night that we were singing at a competition that was set up like American Idol, and John Travolta and Olivia Newton John were the judges! After we sang (I don't recall if we won but I think we should of damm it) Olivia took us to her house(?) A nice house-all white-ocean view-Very Hollywood...We drank cocktails and wait for the rest of the gang to show up. We hear a buzz and Olivia goes roller skating- ala Xanadu over to the security camera and announces to us to look at the tv monitor...we see Jeff (my hunny) and Starla (Vals hunny) pulling up to this gate in this big caddy convertible and John Travolta's driving. So we go out to greet them and when they open the door to the car they are followed by 10 or so little puppies who all come running out with them! We are all happy and the dogs are all over kissing and jumping around like crazy.......
Then I wake and look at the clock and its about 330am....No puppies, house, caddy, Olivia on skates or John....Just Jeff, Maile and Alika snoring next to me......gosh that dream was so real....But what is real is my family-- its a nice dream that is real .... I think I need a pair of Roller Skates.....
