While watching the Oscars the other night I was reminded of a fella that I just simply adore. There is something about this man that sparks me up if you know what I mean. He lights a fire that is special. I know he most likely isn't a cup of tea for many but he so is for me. I just get this feeling when I see him, just hearing him speak and then watching him perform, Its his whole demeanor and aura......Makes me swoon! That lovely Maggie Gyllenhaal is one lucky chick....I was telling the hubby how you just get this vibe that they are such a great couple and how they seem so true Hollywood showbiz.... but in the right way you know? They seem to be a mixture of old, new, and right Hollywood. Its where I would want to be if I was even remotely related to showbiz. Anyhow I love my beefcakes but when it comes to picking a man you know he is just my right type....he is one of them....I just had to share that....

Monday Monday It back again...a Monday morning.....rah rah rah....NOT......Back to the daily routine... Hubby and I have our daily routine each morning.....we wake up at 415am and waste no time getting our groove on......we shower-change- take our vitamins- I sometimes slug down a cup of joe- make a lunch- throw in a load of laundry in the dryer or washer if needed and then take the dogs out and give them a treat for the day as we leave.....we are usually out the door by 530-545... and we get to work by 6 ready to slave away. We are fast and efficient huh? This morning as I sat drinking my coffee waiting for hub as he finished up getting dressed I wanted so badly to go jump right back into bed.....I didn't do it but man was it tempting.... but I knew I had to be a good boy and face my week. For some reason the kids were wide awake and running about this am which doesn't happen to often but it was fun....usually the 2 shih tzus stay in bed till I take them out for the potty run...but this morning everyone was energized! So it made it even harder to leave the boo boo's for the day.....I swear that has to be one if not the hardest part of having to work for a living...leaving the kids at home! I hate saying good bye each day......I do love the welcome home part though....its my fave thing but we can go to the supermarket and we always get the best welcome home committee of greetings......I LOVE that! Well better get back to slaving....Have a good week!

With the warm weather comes outdoor fun. Today should be in the 60's here which will be a nice day indeed! Maybe a good afternoon to head out to a park to enjoy the .....ahem.... weather and spring floral and fauna :-)

So how was your weekend? We didn't do too much--Saturday was the norm... errands, dinner and drinks. Took a cyber day off yesterday and did not go online ONCE! Hubby took me for a nice Sunday drive since it was a really fantastic day and we went to Wights and Sky Nursery....I loved it and enjoyed getting excited with ideas for spring. Had a nice lunch and then got back home to enjoy the afternoon with the kids on the sectional.. So it is now Monday and I am back at work... I wish I had a rewind button...or a fast forward one....

But I am alive and I am a survivor and I can get through all of it. Its going to be a long road. Happy Friday....Thought this dude while hot-- god I love those thighs! Looks just like I feel today... in a total daze....the last few days have been shall we say very challenging....I cant really elaborate to much....yet.....but I will when I am able.... Oh bugger my head hurts!

Work is insane....Mom has and is battling a bad cold.... and life is just a bit messy right now in many ways.... I think a weekend is much needed for my sanity at this point so thank god its here....And a good tall drink is in order for tonite....or maybe a bunch of good tall drinks!

A Furry Edition

Happy hump day! Don't you just love today's furry edition? I know it makes me happy! HOT!!

Well had a nice 4 day holiday....here is a short recap ...Friday night went out with a couple of nice gents for dinner and then went to a drag show which was one of the best I have seen in a long time. Had dinner at Julias and then stayed for the drag show Le Faux. It stars Shannel from RuPauls drag race and it was hightly entertaining and fun. You may have saw our facebook photo with Shannel this weekend....anyhow he is a great guy and does a VERY good drag! I guess he will be in Vegas in March doing hosting duties for the show there...We plan to go back very soon with some other friends as they will get a big hoot and love this kinda stuff! We popped into a friends b day party on the way home from the show...... Was really suppose to just be a drop in Happy B day but we ended up partying to 330am! OMG! I cant recall the last time I was up that late!!! Got home at 4am..yes 4am!! so we pretty much just relaxed and slept all day Saturday.....Saturday night we went to a Valentines party and got to see lots of friends and that was a ton of fun....Sunday we took the nephew to see Wolfman....It was pretty good and he enjoyed it as he picked the movie.... Went to lunch and then watched movies all Sunday night....Monday was some quick errands and a trip to Costco...then we relaxed and hung out at home.....So a nice weekend indeed...got some R and R but it went by too fast....Now back at work....Nothing going on other than work and the daily stuff.....Mom has a bad cold and we are praying she kicks it......Dogs are well.....They love the weather we have right now.....Now if I can just get through this work week......Well furry men like this sure do help.....Hope your week is going well....Meet you on the other side of it real soon! So wheres the beef? Apparently right here.....Wowzaa eh? Beefy Beefy Beefy.....I dig it man! So Happy Monday dogs! So how was your weekend? It was a pretty busy eventful weekend and it went by much to fast. Saturday was all business in the day and we got all our errands done- Supermarket, Costco and then cleaned the house and worked in the yard and then even gave the kiddums baths.....Phew! We then headed out to dinner and had a few cocktails......it was nice to get out of the house and the kids enjoyed it.....

Yesterday was a better day and we spent the day with my mom and dad and snacked and visited our way through the day and then had a nice dinner and watched the Superbowl. Hubby won the football pool which was cool.

Back at work today and the daily grid...whoopie doo dah....I hope this week moves fast.....Took Friday off and have Monday off due to Prez day.....So I am looking at a 4 day weekend this next weekend.....that is something to look forward too indeed...

One of my favorite pretty boys of all time Paul Vandervort for our TGI FRIDAY pleasure!! His looks are changing a bit these days dont you think? So I am all better and that wicked cold is gone....that Zycam stuff I took rocks and it sure killed it quick! So we have had the warmest Jan of all time in the Seattle area and it has continued to be spring like here and they are saying we should have this into the end of next week with these mild temps! No complaints here that's for dang sure! We are averaging about 50 degrees as our daytime highs and next week we should creep into the mid 50's.....Its almost like we skipped winter man and all the plants and trees are budding and its kind of strange....It looks and feels so much like spring here. I did see that most of the east is preparing for a whopper of a snow job today and through the weekend---Yikers! To all of you in that area I hope it all goes ok....looks to be a real big scary storm!

So been watching the boob tube this week and I have to comment on a few shows..Sorry but I am not impressed by Project Runway yet----at all!!! Most of the clothes they are making are butt ugly and I am going to call it...The Old Betty Boop chick with the bangs is going to win it all anyhow......next......Sheer Genius started and is it me or are the stylist all kind of creepy looking? Maybe its due to all the hair chemicals they ingest on a daily basis but they are all kind of butta faced....I know its about haircuts but geez Its TV can I get some pretty and handsome....and please don't get me started on the freak show of judges...Freaky Ken Vo and that blow out Antin guy.....can he be anymore of a asshole and why is he so puffy nowadays? He has sure blew up! I think this show is going to tank without the old host and lovely Jackie Smith....

So I am ready for my weekend and really not too much going on ......have alot of errands to do... Costco on the way home tonite and then some other errands tomorrow and maybe get some yard work in as well.....then on Sunday we will head over to the families big SUPERBOWL party and eat drink and watch the game..... Food family and tight football pants...should be a good afternoon.

I have been sick as a dog......Little bit better today and came into work....Much rather be home with the kids.....They love it when I stay home on the couch all day....Taking Zycam...Anyone know any cute make nurses? Send them my way please...

Rad is super duper heartbroken that Ugly Betty has been canceled.....Its sad when a clever show with a good fan base is canceled.....I wish someone else would pick it up....ABC should be ashamed....Its all about money....They kinda doomed it by moving it around and now its on Wednesdays at 10pm! WTF! Such a great show that should at least be given a few more seasons.... Such a awesome show for our community too.....its so fricken sad to lose it.... whaaaaaaa!!!

Rad Homo is 4!
Monday 1/18 was RAD HOMOS 4th birthday! Its hard to believe that 4 years ago I started this blog for fun and I just cant believe I am still going! There is allot to go back and check out and often I do go back and read my archives. Most of the time I love it and sometimes I am amazed "wow I said that or noted that...cool! " and sometimes it makes me giggle..... and then some of the time I shudder a bit---oops WTF was I thinking?.....But most of the time I love it. I do wonder sometimes how much fuel I have in me to continue with it as lately I have been so unmotivated to post but we all go through these spurts and ups and downs and I am sure it will pass.... I do like that it is like my online scrap book of sorts...and it is so much fun to share it all with the online world....well most of the time......but the VERY best part is the super people I have met because of it and have come into my life.....Its very awesome!

Happy Beefcake Friday folks! Thought a double dose of JW was in order.....Just about to start my work day....have I ever mentioned how I wish I could work 4 10 hours days and have 3 days off? One day I hope that happens......It just makes more sense in so many ways.....but TGIF for sure. This week went quickly and now another weekend is upon us. YAY! Don't have much planned for the weekend at all just one thing really--my uncle Steve's retirement party on Sunday. He worked for 43 years with the Naval Shipyard here.... It should be fun as we get to spend time and see lots of family and friends on Sunday afternoon. We don't get to see some of them too often so it will be good for my mom to see everyone as well now that she has more energy.
I am still being a recessionista and being as thrifty as possible.....I am going to try to stay away from any shopping this weekend again. Though a friend just emailed me and told me she is headed to one of our fave Places U Village tomorrow....Damm her! I told my honey that I want to maybe go and see Avatar tomorrow morning. All he said was ITS A LONG MOVIE...So will see if hes in the mood tomorrow am...He would rather go to the Village... Oh its so hard to be a good boy sometimes.....

Hello! Im back!.... well sort of....I am trying to get back in the blog thing but for some reason I am having a hard time getting motivated to blog or even go online this week after being away. It was a wonderful vacation break with holiday party's and get togethes, visits with friends and family, movies, dinners and we even managed to fit in a mini getaway to Mt Baker with the kids....I will try to post some pics here soon (if you are one of my facebook buds you can see some of our escapades as they are already posted there) So it was a busy time but also restful too which was really nice.....It did however go by much to quickly and now its back in the daily grind.....Whaaaaaa! So now just playing catch up with work and life. Work is super busy and then just getting shit in order. I still have the Christmas stuff to take down and put away and will get to that this weekend......then I will general clean the house from head to toe....I am a week late this year on removal of Christmas and clean up of the house but I was too busy last week and really wanted to relax on times I had free and just chill ya know? I do just love to start the year with a clean fresh home!

Didn't make any real New Year resolutions...... I htink they are sort of silly....but I know I need to make a few changes....So I will work on some lifestyle changes for 2010... I need to quit my Classic Coke habit, start to exercise and just try to eat better. I do love my coke and that will be missed.....I will be doing a "war" class-- which is also called "bootcamp" which is a hour long class 3 days a week.....its a full cardio workout....I start that on Jan 18th....I am excited for that....Well check back with me on that on Jan 19th and I will let you know how excited I still am about it! LOL

So I am thinking my New Year will officially start next week....After the Christmas is removed and the house is cleaned and new linens are put out and maybe some rearranging of the furniture and some organization is done around the home...I should also be out of coke by the weekend as well..... But I cant make any promises if this guy above shows up with a can to share.... I may have to indulge.......can that slip up not count please?.

Have you all been naughty? We all know our Santa doesn't mind if we are a bit naughty.....Ho hum its only fricken Wednesday...Now I know why its called hump day....after today the week should go faster! So the weather here is gray and rain....what I like to call Seattle doom and gloom weather and I think it has alot to do with the mood and how many people I have run into that this week that are a bit down and or tired this week.....except of course all the lucky bastards that are not working or already on holiday break... You know who you are....Why don't you please just shut your cheery ass pie holes!

I do hope the weather improves for the holidays-- it will be good to have some sunshine and light.....I would much rather have last weeks bun numbing cold weather with sun then this gray "rain world" we currently have. This will be great as we have ALOT going on in the next few weeks so I will be rested up ready to go!

Another Monday

Mondays really suck don't they? Its hard to get going today knowing I have a fricken full work week ahead and its already kinda slow in my biz these days......is it me or does it seem like alot of folks are already in holiday mode this year. Seems like people have already checked out and are on vacation mode already.....how lucky!.....Me not so lucky :-(

As you all know already I am a total thermal lova and its still very much the attire these days here in the Northwest! So whats going on with you all this weekend? We are watching our good friends doogies while they are on a quick weekend getaway so we will have 2 additional kids ( 2 adorable Havanese Juku and Miso) along with our 3 kiddums! So we are in for the weekend with 5 kids running around....We also will have our 13 year old nephew spending the weekend....so its going to be a stay at home and hang out kind of weekend Dusitn just turned 13 a few weeks ago so we are having a boys weekend....Movies, food, video games etc.....it should be lots of fun and we enjoy his company....we may venture out tonite or tomorrow and go check out some Christmas lights.....We invited my ma and pa (as my mom loves to go "look at lights") I told her they can choose the night and we can pile in he car and drive around looking at all the neighborhood light displays while listening to Christmas music and sipping hot coco form our thermas........They say SNOW maybe something to expect this weekend so it will be a good weekend for us to put on our thermals, put on a fire and hang out in the Rad Homo cabin! Remember this ad? Some of you-- well most of you are most likely too young to recall this one....To me its one pic that help start the whole underwear for men revolution in ads and print and such........Well some would argue that it was the Jim Palmer Underwear ads as well that really changed the landscape so to speak...and that did as well...But this was more my speed in the 1980's and really got us boys going! Times have sure changed and it has exploded with men in underwear and so much more all over the media and on this inter net thing and on and on and on.....Back in the day you had to go into your Sears or JC Penny catalog to look at the guys in underwear. Can you imagine...hey don't knock it it wasn't so bad....LOL

Well I have always enjoyed Calvin Klein's work from Marky Mark to Antonio Sabato....this list can go on and on when it comes to men in CK underwears and ads.... CK does a good job with all they do and there is a new ad out that was in my Dec issue OUT magazine and it just gives me a nice jolt...in the pants! It isn't an underwear ad but gosh darnitt....this is one handsome devil indeed! I just love Calvin Klein and who they choose for male models..... I want a life size poster of this one in my locker please...Im in love with this guy...

Its been a "BEAR" of a week...

And not a good BEAR like the one above.....Lets just say I am so dang glad Friday is here! Nada planned for the weekend...well we have stuff going on just no plans cemented or committed too....I feel like laying around all weekend with a fire and just chillaxing...But maybe we get some of the Christmas decor going on the inside of the home. I don't know why but I am just not in the mood to decorate the inside this year. Do you think I am a loser if I take a year off from decor on the inside? We did the entire outside and its lovely! Its all LED lights and beautiful! I know I know....I need to get off my ass and do some of it on the inside as well and just rope it in. I don't want my GAY ID card revoked anyhow...I will decorate....some..... but I wont be doing the tree.

We also have an ornament exchange party tomorrow night as well and its always fun....its a little crazy as the last few years it has been about 60 plus people ( 90% homo)...that's a big exchange! It takes time to do but its fun to mingle and see old friends and then meet new ones.....but the hubby and I have not decided if we are in the mood for it this year......we may just take a pass this year. Will see how we feel when tomorrow night hits.

I guess we also have a chance of snow this weekend. They say not much and most likely a trace to a few inches at the most. It sure is cold enough for it.......I wore some new long johns last night...I just think long johns are so sexy on a man....I wear them like sweats or PJs bottoms and run around the house in them during the winter. I got some new ones last Friday..they are Joe Boxer black and white military printed ones! They were normally 9.99 but on the Black Friday 4 hr sale they were 3.99! I know big spender me...LOL! Maybe I will get the hubby to snap a pic of me in them for you! So what you all doing this weekend?

I Miss My Old Claw Foot Tub!
So we have had a nice week weather wise in Seattle! It has been very sunny and dry but a bit chilly! Its been about freezing every night and we have been about 40 as a daytime high......not too bad but its our first chill of the season.....Brrrrr.....but I really don't mind it as I love sunny crisp days and will take it over rain anytime as we had that steady rain-wind and gray for a few weeks and I was ready to cry. So after a chilly day there is nothing like a good hot bath!~ I used to love the old house I lived in as it had a big ass claw foot tub and it was the best for soaking and just chilling in it. It was also big enough where you could have your buddy in there with ya and I did that on many occasion's! You scrub mines and I will scrub yours.....Now we have a tub that is like those normal ones much like the pic above.....its way too small and sadly this boy was not including with it....My next house is going to have a big tub....Or I am going to have to put one in if I get to remodel our bathroom-- which maybe the case as we may never move with this recession. I want to soak with my hubby and then have the option also invite whomever I want to splish splash with as well!

How was your Thanksgiving holiday weekend? Mines was good and busy... I don't know about you but I have had my fill of turkey leftovers--Turkey sandwiches, soup and such.... Don't get me wrong as I love turkey but you can only get creative with turkey in so many ways-- though this fine fella mentioned how he made some turkey enchiladas and that sparked some interest in me.....something I am going to try next time for sure as we had turkey leftovers up to our eyeballs! I am so ready for a burger and some fries...Served by a fine gent too please!

I had to take a break from the blog world over the holiday weekend as I was so very busy! Here is my cliff note version of my weekend.... Wednesday night we went out for a few drinks at Madison Pub and then and shaked our tail feathers at the Cuff.....Great fun! Ran into many friends which was funny with as many bars there are in Seattle as we don't go out to often (actually ever) but it was a good way to start the holiday weekend. Thanksgiving was quiet and relaxing and spent the entire day and evening with my family and had a nice dinner and visit. Friday morning the hubby and I braved the world and hit black Friday....Went to Target first to get a new digital camera (the old one ate it on our last trip) and a small camcorder! We were after those good deals!....Well the store was insane! It was Target close to Southcenter Mall and it was SUPER packed... the line alone to pay was with about 100 cartfulls long or longer and it wrapped all the way around the store...this was 715am in the am! So we hightailed out of there in shock and headed over to the AT and T store.....Picked up our shiny and new iPhones!! Woot woot! Then hubby drove me over to our neighborhood Target...it was busy but not a madhouse and we were able to pick up the camera and camcorder. We were home by 10am and played with our new toys all day and evening. Saturday I took down all the Thanksgiving stuff and got up on the roof and cleaned all the gutters and then did yard work ...that was a major job!.....Had to take major Tylenol later as my body isn't as young as it used to be...Saturday night went to dinner at our friends. Yesterday we decorated the outside with Christmas lights and did some errands-- Costco- Pet Store- Grocery's etc....then watched Up on DVD..... So Phew...we did get alot done...just didn't get the inside Christmas done yet... Only 8 storage bins to unpack for that task!

So last night after dinner the kitchen sink went off-- no water...We think ( hope) its just the faucet....Today we will need to work on that when we get home.....Please pray for us boys-- we are handy but when it come to plumbing and electrical...well not so much..I don't want to have to call a plumber! Wish us luck!
