Logo has a new hit! Q. Allan Brocka - the man behind Eating Out 1 & 2 and Boy Culture - has adapted his animated short Rick & Steve into a series for the gay channel. Produced in the same studios as Celebrity Deathmatch, . Voice talents include A- list LGBT's like Peter Paige (Emmet on Queer As Folk), Margaret Cho, Wilson Cruz and Alan Cumming. The happy gay couple also has their own MySpace page. Make them your friends and make sure to watch Tuesday. We watched the first episode the other night and it had us in tears!!

Borstal Boy ( 2000)

Ok.... an older film but good one!!! Got a bit involved watching this as I flipped around last night and on Logo came across this movie-- seen it awhile back when it came out in 2000...forgot how much of good story it was... I had a major crush on Danny Dyer at the time and Shawn Hatosy isn't hard on the eyes either..It was nice to see it again.. Wonder what these fellas are up to these days..

The teen years of Irish writer and political activist Brendan Behan. At the age of sixteen, while on a bombing mission from Ireland to Liverpool during the Second World War, he is apprehended, charged and imprisoned by the British. He is sent to a Borstal, a reform institution for young offenders, in East Anglia, England. At Borstal, Brendan is forced to live face to face with those he perceived as "the enemy," a confrontation that forces a self-examination that is both traumatic and revealing. Events take an unexpected turn as Brendan falls for the headmaster''s daughter and befriends an ostracized gay student. In the emotional vortex, he finally faces up to some difficult truths and finds a way to move on.

SEATTLE -- Cooling centers were open in many Western Washington locations on Wednesday afternoon as temperatures crept toward -- or exceeded -- record highs for the day.
The temperature at Sea-Tac Airport hit 98 degrees breaking the record for this date of 95, set in 1951,! Not only is it a record, but it is one of a handful of times when Sea-Tac has hit the upper 90s in the last 10 years!
The all-time high for Sea-Tac Airport is 100, set on July 20, 1994-- Thursday's hi temps will be a bit better with a high of 85 degrees which should continue into the weekend.

Seattle: 98 (Daily record high, ties fourth warmest day recorded)

Heatwave Continues

SEATTLE -- Expect record heat on Wednesday across much of the interior of Western Washington, forecasters said. The KIRO 7 Pinpoint Severe Weather Center said temperatures will be in the 90s to 100 degrees, 15 to 25 degrees above normal.
The record for this date is 95, set in 1951. The all-time high for Sea-Tac Airport is 100, set on July 20, 1994The 99 degrees recorded in Hoquiam on Tuesday was an all-time high. The National Weather Service said the previous record was 98 set in 1981 and 1961.
Forecasters also said records for Tuesday's date were 86 at Bellingham, and 85 at Stampede Pass.

Temperatures should start to ease on Thursday and cool into the weekend.
High temperatures also are forecast for Eastern Washington--in the upper 90s and breaking 100 through Saturday.

Here comes another holiday! Been so flippin busy!!! It will be real nice to get some time off and get stuff done...Jeff's aunts just moved in with us a few weeks ago from California....They will stay with us while they get situated in Seattle....We plan to head over to a small town (Olympia) for a good old fashion 4th of July parade for the 4th- And waiting on invites for that night! he he....Maybe we will have a small gathering..hmmmm...then we are both off this Thursday and Friday-- So its 5 day weekend!! YAHOO!!! so I plan to relax and enjoy some summer weather that is forecast for Seattle!! hi 80's!! OMG!!! BTW-- Baby got back dont ya say........Firecracker firecracker boom boom boom....the boys got the back..... Have a safe and insane 4th!!!

John Cameron Mitchell’s arthouse flick Shortbus follows the fortunes of a group of sexually liberated New Yorkers who visit an erotic club of the same name. It’s an eye-opening experience for anyone bold enough to brave it ... Jeff and I bought this when it came out weeks ago...Needless to say we have not had time to watch due to our crazy ass schedules..We did take a day of R and R yesterday and finally got to watch some movies and kick back...We enjoyed this movie....I'm sure most of you have seen it.....if not you need to check it out-- good story and a bonus is the sex scenes of course...and man there is lots of that!

June 11, 2007 -- A LACK of latex kept Madonna and John F. Kennedy Jr. from a full-blown sex romp in a no-tell motel one night, a new bio claims.
In "American Legacy," one of JFK Jr.'s closest pals from Brown University, Rob Littell, tells author C. David Heymann that during the summer of 1988, Kennedy and the Material Girl stopped off at a "cheap, dinky" Chicago hotel for a secret rendezvous during which they planned to finally go all the way.
"They were working their way around the bases, and as they rounded third and headed for home, she asked him if he had any protection. He didn't, so now they began discussing how they were going to get a hold of a prophylactic," Littell tells the author.
"She was still legally married to Sean Penn, and he had a steady girlfriend . . . They were afraid of being busted. They couldn't very well just meander into a pharmacy and ask for a pack of Trojans. They were too well known . . . To John's great chagrin, the relationship was never completed."
Another claim in the book, sure to infuriate the Kennedy clan and their friends who believe Heymann's sources are dubious, is that JFK Jr. had numerous bisexual encounters.
Transsexual Warhol superstar Holly Woodlawn, who met the hunk at Studio 54, tells the author: "I know he was attracted to me because when we danced he played with my a - - and stuff. He kissed me on the dance floor, and I kissed him back."
Another acquaintance, French physical therapist Jean Christian Massard, who went clubbing with JFK Jr. in the late '80s, claims, "He confided - and I believed him - that he'd had several flings with men."
Heymann also recounts an alleged one-hour encounter John-John had with a hooker named April Showers at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles on May 30, 1991, after he was unable to hook up with Darryl Hannah and called an escort service.
"He was pretty frustrated and had a good time. He gave me a nice tip," Showers says. "As I was about to leave, he said, 'If I ever run for president, don't pop out of the woodwork on me - you could cost me votes.' 'Don't worry,' I replied. 'My lips are sealed.'
