Then we went over to our dear Friends for dinner-- got sloshed with green apple martinis and had these New cupcakes for dessert from Williams and Sonoma they are called Sprinkles--I guess its from some celebrated Beverly Hills cupcake shop, talk about scrumptious cupcakes! I'm a fan as they were so good-- thought about them all day Sunday..Oink Oink... so ran across these fellas-- god is Ginch Gonch taking over the world? As per The Hollywood Reporter, The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning was ABC Family Channel's most-watched original movie of all time for the male demographic, ages 12 to 34. Hmmmm......very interesting--Jeff and I watched it and I will say this-- It was on the ABC family channel-- which was strange considering the content....we kept looking at each other and shrugging...it was perfect for us --maybe it should of aired on Bravo.....Talk about Homoerotic! Jonathan Bennett as Bo Luke and Randy Lane as Luke Duke--sure made it easy to watch...

Ok... so I ordered some undies and a linen shirt last year and now I get bombarded with IM e-mails. It doesn't bother me much but most of the time the looks are so dang funny! Really Disco Danny if you know what I mean...But today this one came and I thought what a very cute man and what very cute outfit and I want to go on vacation to somewhere warm dammit!...I also want to wear white pants! A few months ago I got Sirius Satellite and I thought I would mostly listen to OutQ and the dance music channels. Well I quickly discovered the gay channel was completely bland so I decided to give Howard Stern a listen. Now, it's the channel I listen to more than any other.Up until recently, I was never what you would call a fan of Howard. I knew who he was - The Shock Jock. Offensive, brash, perverted, overtly heterosexual, etc. When flipping through the t.v. channels I would occasionally stop and watch his show just to mindlessly observe the ridiculousness that was Howard.Homophobic? Quite the contrary. Here's a quote from Howard on Brokeback Mountain..."It is an incredibly moving movie. I wish that they would take this movie and force these assholes from the religious right [to watch] -- these perverts, these Taliban motherfuckers -- who want to sit there and tell gay people they can't get married ... It shows you how, when gays have to be closeted, they ruin the lives of women and families. Everyone goes through hell. ... It is just outrageous. Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger, they were both terrific in it."One of Howard's regular co-hosts is George Takei - Sulu from the original Star Trek, who is openly gay - and wildly entertaining.I relished in the fact that Howard recently called Ann Coulter a cunt for the comment she made about John Edwards.Planet Out recently named Howard as one the most gay friendly celebrities alive. Ugly Betty is tops!

Anybody out there crazy about Ugly Betty as I? I started to do a post about them last week and saved it in my drafts...now OUT came in the mail this weekend and has them on the cover.... Becki Newton as Amanda and Michael Urie as Marc has filled the shoes of Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally's Jack and Karen now that no Will & Grace has departed in my opinion. I particularly enjoy Betty's twelve-year-old gay nephew, Justin on the show. I mean in one episode Justin receives a football uniform from his dad as a gift...hes not interested in it at all--well except the jock cup---He puts it up to his face and runs around the room saying "Look at me look at me I'm the Phantom Of The Opera!" I Love it.... and where else can you hear Vanessa Williams who plays bad ass Wilhelmina Slater (who upon decided on who to let go at the agency) tells her assistant Marc -- you just want to save Amanda as she's your BEARD! And now we now have Ms. Rebecca Romijn playing a woman who used to be a man (the former brother, now sister, of the editor-in-chief of the magazine-who happens to be HOT as hecks Eric Manibus!) mixed into the fun! You simply have to check it out! it is so campy and gay....

Portuguese Power!

Isn't this gal gorgeous! Jeff and I can’t get enough of this gal…Nelly Furtado is just fricken awesome…Her latest cd has been a staple to listen to on our I-pod for months now, she is from this Pacific Northwest area, Victoria BC to be exact which is just a short ferry ride over to Vancouver Island. I remember we had gone to shop, do tea time at the Empress and you know just a quick weekend getaway a few years ago…It was when she was a newcomer with her hot song” I’m Like A Bird” ...Well this Portuguese hottie has sure improved with this latest CD. My moms even got into the action. My mom who is pure blooded Portuguese is so very proud of her heritage—Really our whole family always has been and so she had to have a copy when she found out about her and my niece had her as a ring tone as well …so we had to get her the cd…My mom and my sister have that good looking Portuguese thing going for them—they can be really fair skinned and then turn up the tan if they are in the sun—and they have those really emerald green eyes…yup very HOT! I on the other hand got the brown eyes—but at least I have the same skin. I can get light in the winter unless I cheat and go to the tan booths and then I bronze in any sunshine above 60 degrees! LOL! Every boy and girl that I have become serious with has had light light eyes...Hmmm.... I wonder why???

It hard to believe now growing up in Hawaii I was called hauoli boy or (how-lee) which pretty much means white boy in Hawaiian due to being fair skinned in school. I think I have changed with age....My mother came from a pure blooded Portuguese family. She was the youngest of 6—they all married Portuguese as my Granny didn't allow them to marry out of race... Hawaiian, Irish, German , Japanese etc…they had to be pure blooded Pocho…Well my mother was the first to break that rule and married a Hawaiian Chinese man….So thus my siblings and I were a first in a large Portuguese family-- of HAPA Hauoli -or mixed children---Now of course it seems everyone in the islands are hapa. Ok so now I miss my Granny. Makes me want to go back to home to the islands….now
