Adam Sandler's faux gay comedy "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" charmed $34.8 million from moviegoers its first weekend in theaters to beat off Hairspray and "Harry Pooter /Cooter" last week and then this weekend The Simpson Movie came in first with Chuck and Larry following close behind....."Chuck and Larry," stars Sandler and Kevin James as heterosexual Brooklyn firefighters who pose as a gay couple to qualify for domestic-partner benefits.. So many mixed reviews and I'm not sure if its good or not-- I know its popular with the straights--I have heard from number of hetros at work and out on how funny it is--Strange thing is I haven't heard of any of my gay posse seeing it.... I think we can wait for the vid...

I haven't watched BB in the past few years but this year the show is sorta addicting... I just heard from the live feed Nick is maybe on his way out- sad...And he may be getting a mohawk!- NO!! By now I'm sure you know that Tammy Faye Messner died on Friday following a raw, emotional appearance the night before on Larry King Live. She was 65. Tammy Faye had been battling cancer since 1996.

Messner, who stood out on Christian television in the 80's for reaching out to gay men afflicted with AIDS at a time when Ronald Reagan refused to even mention the disease, said: "I refuse to label people. We’re all just people made out of the same old dirt, and God didn’t make any junk."
Her son, Jay Bakker, posted this message on his website over the weekend:

"After fighting cancer for eleven years, my mother passed away on July 20 at 4AM. She had a very peaceful death and is no longer in pain. To grant her wish she was cremated today and her ashes were buried at a private ceremony. The service was performed by my good friend Randy McCain of Open Door Community Church in Sherwood, AR. Thank you to everyone for their prayers and support over the years - it has helped me more than you will ever know. Please continue to pray for her husband Roe as well as the rest of my family. A public ceremony is currently being planned - an update will be sent once the details are finalized along with where to send flowers. I ask that all press would please allow me to grieve privately at this time. Thank you"

Next up will be Hairspray for sure!.....Cant help think of how Daniel has turned into a handsome young man....A few months ago these pics were all over the net with Daniel's revival in Equus. Going with the gang tonite to check out the West Seattle Arts West group put on HAIR...The word is its very good and they do an awesome job. The oldest member in the cast is 19 and youngest 16...

The original "American Tribal Love Musical" rocks the ArtsWest stage for 18 performances. We are gong to travel back to the Age of Aquarius and "let the sunshine in" tonite... Should be fun!

Two young guys were picked up by the cops for smoking dope and appeared in court on Friday before the judge. The judge said, "You seem like nice young men, and I'd like to give you a second chance rather than jail time. I want you to go out this weekend and try to show others the evils of drug use and get them to give up drugs forever. I'll see you back in court Monday.

Monday, the two guys were in court, and the judge said to the 1st one, "How did you do over the weekend? "Well, your honor, I persuaded 17 people to give up drugs forever. 17 people? That's wonderful. What did you tell them? I used a diagram your honor. I drew two circles like this...
