I am a warm weather boy so I am jealous...I love a good heatwave! I know some of you would rather have our cool temps....But not me as I love the heat! HOW YOU DOING?

Some new NICK YOUNGQUEST pics I came across recently. How you all doing? He is so good looking so I just had to share.... I have been so busy and havent had time to blog or the energy to do it-- I guess I am in a blog slump.....I could make the time but just have other issues in my head going on. I cant pinpoint it but I am not in a bloggin mood these days--- I wonder sometimes if I should end it but then I keep it and lay off for while--this has happened before in years past---I get in a slump then whammo I come back with more passion-- so bear with me as I feel some passion is getting ready to explode again soon! :-)

Alika is doing ok...We spent the weekend at the beach over the holiday weekend and he did ok...We had to use a baby stroller alot to get him around the beach as he does not have the energy to run and walk alot...He did trot around but nothing like he used to at the beach.....Its just a fucked up thing and hubby and I are kinda numb about it all- We kinda are just not facing the fact about losing him...Well we are just having a hard time accepting it....I just wait day by day and make sure he is happy. Its just a shitty situation. I am heartbroken over it.

Had family from Hawaii here the 2 weeks prior the the holiday weekend. They stayed with us for a week and went on a Alaska cruise for one too--so the week here we played tour guides to all the sights of Seattle- It was nice to spend time with them---It was a little strange to have 5 women stay with us though-- I think that is a first-- We sure went through ALOT of toilet paper! LOL! Well just wanted to catch you up on a few things--yes RAD is alive....Time to go check out all my fave blogs! Heres one more of Nick..... Y to the YUMMY man!

ALIKA Thanks you!

Mahalo ( Thanks) to all those sending well wishes and good thoughts to us and our boy Alika-  He had his second round of chemo yesterday and he is doing ok...  He is sleeping alot..Last night he stayed in bed and didn't move an inch-- I don't think he feels sick but he is taking anti nausea pills just in case. His system take a beating after the treatment--  Poor boy... I am hoping he is better in a few days or sooner--   At least he only gets the chemo treatment every 3 weeks....so his next one is at the end of the month-  Lets all hope and pray his weekly blood test show some improvement...  again thanks to all for you love-support and well wishes.....

Numba One Son- ALIKA

Sorry about the non bloggin-- Been busy with projects...Looking for a Job...and dealing with some big time emotional items-  As most of you know we have 3 kids-- Malie and Alika and Lola----Our only son- ALIKA was diagnosed with Lymphoma about a month ago.  When the test came back in early April they told us that he is stage 3 cancer and he has about 30 days to live.  We were in shock and so very sad. We had some choices to make--we could let him be and make his life as comfortable as long as we can-- Or we could go with about 3-4 protocols--Each different using chemo-radiation- pill combinations-    This would give him more time.  Most of them would give him maybe 6-12 more months of life.

We had some choices to make--He was acting normal except his lympnodes were super swollen and huge--- But he seemed ok and normal--We did not want him to suffer or have a bad quality of life so we had to think about what to do.....  We knew we were not ready to just let him go so soon.  We were not being selfish it was just in our hearts and we knew that it just was not his time you know?  Most of the protocols start in the $3000 range and upwards to $7000 or more.. Of course we don't have the funds--But after careful consideration we decided to go with a plan...I decided we can max out a cc and just deal with it....It was worth it....  We wanted to see how he responded and our hope was well enough to spend one last summer with his family.  It has been a emotional roller coster and I know its just the beginning....

He had his first round of chemo last week and seems ok-- His lympnodes went way down and he seems ok....He is acting normal except he sleeps alot more....He has another round this week and then every 2-3 weeks-- a total of 6---Will see how he responds---- If he gets super sick I will stop...but so far he seems ok and good....

  We booked a beach getaway in a beach cabin for the upcoming holiday weekend-- It will be "Alikas" beach weekend-  He loves and adores the beach so this is going to be a memory weekend---We are just going to enjoy our time with him while we can---  our promise is to make sure he has a good quality of life while he has here and he will not suffer-  I most want him and us to spend quality time together before he goes to dog heaven.... Please pray for him...  He is such a good boy...

Im Alive

Its the weekend...Time to get crazy!

So sunny and warm in Seattle for the next 3 days which is nice-- Low 70's... we will take it.. Have to do 2 luaus this weekend- one tonite and one tomorrow night.  Should be fun and get my mind off some stuff as we got some bad news yesterday.....Im not ready to share about it but I am in a FUNK over it...  I will pour my heart out and such once I have the time to get my head straight ...But for now just feeling CRAZY!  I am hanging though as best as I can....
