Anna Nicole Smith's son Daniel Snith Dies

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The 20-year-old son of Anna Nicole Smith died suddenly in the Bahamas on Sunday, three days after the former Playboy Playmate gave birth to a girl, Smith's attorney said.
A statement from Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole Smith's attorney, did not provide any details of Daniel Smith's death, and he declined to comment when contacted by Reuters."We have yet to learn the cause of death but do not believe that drugs or alcohol were a factor," Stern said in the statement. "Anna Nicole is absolutely devastated by the loss of her son. He was her pride and joy and an amazing human being."
Daniel Smith was in the Caribbean nation where his mother, 38, gave birth to a healthy girl on Thursday, Stern said.Smith has not said who fathered her second child.

This is really really sad! So cute and so young...this breaks my heart. It is so strange!

Labor Day- Long Beach and the Latch Hook

So we had a good time in Long Beach last weekend…It was nice to get away and celebrate Jeff’s B day and the last hurrah of summer at the coast with some good friends….I think my mom and dad had a great time and in all the weather was nice—It was hotter than a demons ass the first few days and in fact the hottest I have ever encountered at the beach in Washington and then some nice cool and gray days cooled us down and it was nice to get our sweaters and sweats on to keep warm and bundle up! We haven’t had to do that in quite sometime this summer in Seattle this year with this heat and sun. We ate way to much and drank like normal—a lot! Enjoyed each others company and like my dad said as we headed out on Monday. I wish we could stay longer….So cute! It would be nice to stay a week and just chill that’s for sure.

So I took along a latch hook rug kit which was fun as it kept me busy and most importantly kept me from smoking! I quit the dirty habit a few weeks ago (this Sunday will make 3 weeks! WHOO HOO!!) I thought it might be a challenge to drink and not smoke this last weekend—but it went really well and that latch hook was a life saver as it kept me busy with the hands! It was really funny as I haven’t done one since I was a kid with my mom and we both remembered doing one that had 2 owls on a branch—it was off white with brown tones, we actually hung that sucker on our living room wall! Yikes! So There was a little bit of a line to latch hook this weekend as Mom-Jeff and I all took our turns…Fun times…..We found out later that Val also did a latch hook owl as well back in the 80’s! Her family was a little more fancy with the latch hooking and wooden eyes sewn on the owls---oh la la! It also hung on her family’s living room wall and I swear Val kept it and now has it on her bedroom wall—I always wondered what that shaggy thing was on her bedroom wall--But you know lesbians there bedrooms are sacred and your not allowed in—much like there bathrooms but if they have only one they have no choice but to let you in but you better be neat! This lesbian bathroom thing is a whole other post and blog so back to the latch hook….Later, another sweetie named Karissa that joined our clan for the weekend from Portland had also done a latch hook with her mom in Costa Rica that was OWLS! They did one with oranges and reds yarns —she believes her mom still has it hanging at their home too! She asked to have a c ahcnce to latch hook too! So dang funny!!! So did they only make latch hooks kits with owls in the 70’s and 80’s? In any event it was a lot of fun and I am glad I did a project…BTW, my latch hook is a rainbow with a smile face….I only have about 6 more rows till it is done and I will take a picture of it and post it when it is over…. We went into town to find another one for my mom at Joann’s Fabrics on Sunday ( She wanted her own ) same place I bought the one I had—but this store was in Astoria Oregon –the sales girl said—“oh they don’t make those anymore I don’t think they have those since the 70’s!!!” What a goober—I had to tell her I bought the one I had in Washington. In any event Latch Hook rug kits are cool man and are coming back! LOL! Next on my list is to crochet! So everyone’s getting booties and hats for Christmas!

Speaking of the 70’s—Jeff and I came across some crochet beer can hats---I wish we bought them…They were pretty comfortable and fun…Remember those? I do remember my Granny back in Hawaii getting me one with Primo Hawaiian Beer Cans on it…I wish I kept that—it would be a collectors item now. Well all this 70’s and 80’s talk is making me feel old... I guess it doesn’t help that my parents call themselves seniors now….That itself makes me feel old too…Maybe that is why I have quit smoking and last night pumped up my old 10 speed bike… I think I will be going on a bike ride this weekend…..So be on the lookout for me--riding along with a crochet beer cap on cruising on my ten speed… Righteous man!

Time to Hit the LONG BEACH!

Labor Day weekend has approached us-- the last official summer weekend...gosh where has this summer gone? It really has flown by hasn't it? Fall is just around the corner and you can feel and smell it in the air...For all of us in the Pacific Northwest we have had a wonderfully dry and warm summer--not to hot and not to cold --just right! and again this weekend we are lucky enough to be in the mid 80's all weekend which is just a treat for us! Some of the white bread fish smelling soggy lover old school Washingtonians wont like it this weekend but oh well- most of us will love it and hit the beach like this stud in his multi colored bikini in this pic..... NICE EH??

So Jeff and I and our dear friends are headed over to Long Beach Washington--its become our annual last weekend summer swaray and it has become a very nice tradition-- its also Jeff B day so its works out nicely....We rent beach cottages--take the dogs and just chill, eat and enjoy each others company ..This year we have 3 cottages and my mom and dad are going with Jeff and I as each cottage is a 2 bedroom --should be fun for them and us! I also decided to take a latch hook kit this year ( How gay!!!) and going to work on that for mamma cat to enjoy when Im done with it...Jeff is looking forward to his birthday weekend as he gets to ride horses on the beach again and we both and mom is looking forward to going to farmers market on Saturday morning - to the Bakery in town for fresh baked goods..campfires.. BBQ's...Flying our kites on the beach....Letting the dogs run freely on the beach and more.... We are also looking forward to going to some guys we know that just opened a famIly bar in town called the Full Circle Bar....Gay bar in long beach what a treat!!! In any event we are looking so forward to spending time with our good friends and just ending this summer of 2006 with a very special time and memory that will last a lifetime...Hope you have a nice labor day weekend too!!! OLYMPIA, Wash. – Gay and lesbian couples today asked the state Supreme Court to reconsider its endorsement of Washington's gay marriage ban, saying the court's flawed reasoning ignored legal protections against sex discrimination. Such requests to the high court rarely are granted, but attorneys in the case said the stakes were too high to let the opportunity pass.
"We felt that we had to use every option available to us to show the justices the logic behind our arguments and how their decision, as it is currently reasoned, falls short," said Nancy Sapiro of the Northwest Women's Law Center, a plaintiffs' attorney.
The Supreme Court's 5-4 decision, issued last month, held that state lawmakers were justified in restricting marriage to unions between a man and woman.
That decision overruled two lower courts, which had found the state's 1998 Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional.
Because there were no federal legal issues raised in the case, an appeal beyond the state Supreme Court is not an option — likely making Tuesday's motion the last stand for gay-marriage advocates in state court.
Lawyers for the 19 couples in the combined gay marriage case relied on a pair of legal arguments in their motion asking the court to reconsider.
The court's finding that the Legislature had a "rational basis" for seeking to regulate marriage was flawed, plaintiffs argued.
"They couldn't show any reason how it could hurt opposite-sex couples if same-sex couples get married, or why same-sex couples' children wouldn't equally benefit if their parents could get married," said Jon Davidson, a lawyer with the gay rights group Lambda Legal.
The ruling also overlooked an aspect of the state constitution's sex discrimination protections, the plaintiffs argued, by not recognizing that the gay marriage law treats individuals differently based on their gender — a man can marry a woman, but a woman can't do the same, Davidson said.
In their writings, three majority justices in the case invited the state Legislature to take another look at the gay marriage ban's effect on same-sex couples.
Davidson acknowledged that the statehouse remains an option for gay marriage supporters, but said the courts must be available to protect a minority's rights.
"We have a court to protect the rights of minorities when the Legislature doesn't want to," he said.
The Northwest Women's Law Center, Lambda Legal and the American Civil Liberties Union filed the motion just before Tuesday evening's deadline for such requests expired.
The court could ask the state for a written response, schedule new oral arguments, or simply reject the request, lawyers said.
Some gay marriage opponents were dubious of the motion's chances. Joseph Fuiten, whose conservative Faith and Freedom Network intervened in the case, said every conceivable legal argument already had been aired.
"This took a long time. We waited forever to get this decision, and we really don't need to do this thing all over again," Fuiten said. "We've been there, we've done that."

Every boy has his very special girl...And shes mine...Im just so happy that I have been able to have her re appear in my life!! Its fun to be able to share our lives and further our wonderful friendship even more and add more chapters....She has a fabulous husband "Jim" who I adore and 4 kids!!! "great isn't that nice" So maybe shes more like my Karen!-- anyhow she and I still relate on so many levels and still chat away when we can which is so much fun!.....This pic reminds me of our fathers as they both used to wear shorts like this..Terry and Ralph in there shorty shorts!! How hilarious! Heck... who am I kidding so did I! I used to wear those Adidas shorts that were pretty much ball hungers...White ones with red Adidas lettering and stripes on the sides....The girl's used to wear them too and flip up the front----they also wore those Dolphin Shorts--it was either striped or color paneled on each side....No boys wore the Dolphin ones except one guy in PE--I cant remember his name but I know he must of became a big old queen...Well at least I looked good in my Shorty Shorts and pulled it off! Oh my gosh.... I cant imagine getting into a pair that size nowadays! YIKES!

Allman, who is the lead singer and guitarist for the band Deadsy, said that after the encounter, he became so worried that he might have contracted a disease that he went downstairs and scrubbed his private parts with a household cleaner, probably Tilex.

Best Looking Blonde Ever!

So I like alot of men boys etc...They are all cute in there own way and turn me on in different ways...but there are a certain niche of the male species that make me go a bit crazy-- The hunky blonde boy-- I have my faves that fit in to this category--Paul Walker, Rusty Joiner, Simon Baker, Ryan Phillipe...and a few others---I think it may have to do with all the blondes I fooled around with in young gun days growing up in Hawaii near the navy base as all the boys were toe heads and then when I moved to Washington the playmates I had in high school well the blondes were always my favorites...well this hunk of burning love here is pretty much one of the best I have seen in a LONG time..Of all my post of good looking boys and men ---this is my favorite of all time..Gosh I think I have butterflies from staring at him for so long.....I think my Jeff needs to go blonde again....LOL!!!

Smells Fishy!

Icky!!!And for all my GF's that give me shit for calling them fishes...seafood lovers..etc heres the facts...

A lady had this horrible body odor.... it was so bad people couldn't be around her. But the thing was she couldn't smell it. People describe it as the smell of dead fish. Anyway, she lived most of her life with this, never knowing when it was going to come on or how to make it go away. Eventually she googled "fishy body odor" and found out it was a disease called "Trimethylaminuria" .

Trimethyaminuria is a metabolic disorder in which an individual is not able to break down trimethylamine, the compound that gives fish their fishy odor, into smaller compounds. Pluto Demoted...

The International Astronomical Union approved new guidelines Thursday that downsize the solar system from nine planets to eight.
The leading astronomers, meeting in Prague, Czech Republic, stripped Pluto of the planetary status it has held since 1930, when it was discovered.
In doing so, the group provided a new definition of what is and what isn't a planet.
Astronomers have been trying to draw a distinction between the eight "classical planets" -- Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune -- and Pluto, which is smaller than Earth's moon and has an eccentric orbit.
In January, NASA sent a probe known as New Horizons on the way to Pluto. It is expected to reach the object in 2015.

Fudge You Co-worker Bitch from HELL!

This is what I want to say to one of the most biggest crotches I work with on a daily basis since this last February. She is one of those women that eats at me on a regular basis---and that hasn't happened in my life often--I cant think of a girl I disliked in a very LONG time...... Dynamite! was a children's magazine in the late '70s that was available through those Scholastic Book Order magazines we got at school each week. I was an avid fan and I wish my dad hadn't thrown them all out when we moved from Hawaii to Seattle--- What a ass!!--anyhow this is just one of those things of many that he threw out that I would of kept ( like my Olivia Newton John scrapbooks...he he ) anyhow this gave me good laughs and brings back many memories. My favorite section was the end of the mag that had the Bummers strip in every issue...Check it out..What a hoot!

I guess on this weeks season finale Mimi-the Brazilian girlfriend, goes berserk on Jackie.. Should be fun to watch that...

Dantes Cove
So Jeff and I stayed home and watched Dantes Coves yesterday---We were even lucky enough to be at the cast wrap party last April at Hulas in Waikiki.....Yes the boys on the show are as hot in person as they are in the show....Anyhow.... heres the skinny....

So Dante's Cove is set in a small town on what seems like a island....and the residents of The Hotel Dante are very gay-bi-lesbian etc....they are all young and super gorgeous. They are plunged into a world full of intrigue, secrets and loads of sexual romance when the towns sinister supernatural past comes to life. Years ago a sorceress named Grace, played by Tracy Scoggins (ou may remember her from the Dynasty spinoff, The Colbys?) finds out her one true love is a gay whack who like it up the bum--- so heartbroken Grace seeks revenge! She imprisons Ambrosius and he is held captive until now---modern times--when he is accidentally released from his chains by a kiss from Kevin,the hotels newest resident.Now the past and the present collide as Grace and Ambrosius continue their feud and the residents of the hotel pay the price and have loads of sex with each other.

The 2 disc DVD which is really just two episodes ( season one) is pretty much softcore gay porn--even going beyond QAF!--Loads of Man on ManAction and Girl on Girl action!! BTW-- Lindsay from QAF is joining Season 2!---- I mentioned to Jeff that the renters at our local Blockbuster would be in for a surprise when they rent it out as all is says to advertise it on the box is "A Super Natural Melrose Place"....Hmmm.....Loads of ass and dick on disc one.....I don't remember that part of Melrose......Anyhow the writing is pretty rough, as is some of the acting. The second disc/episode was ok and improved just about everywhere and was not as softcore pornish.....though some of the writing and acting still leaves a little to be desired. But It actually gets a bit gripping and left me wanting more..So Im ready for season 2!!!

All in all --a very good show--Its a good replacement for my QAF fix for now.....I really think its a very unique addition to gay /lesbian television and film and I anticipate season 2 to be even better!!!----- I love the sex scenes as they are sensual and very hot and I always love that..... I just hope the story lines get better and more realistic--some of it is very far fetched---but heck.... lets just hope they make more episodes and develop the charters and story lines better...Im sure they will as it really has the potential to capture a large audience....I know Im a fan...

Queer as Folk's Thea Gill joins cast of Dante's Cove

The Here cable network announced that Thea Gill, who played Lindsay on Showtime's Queer as Folk, will join the cast of Dante's Cove in its second season. The new season of Cove will feature Gill as Diana Childs, a mysterious newcomer who will tangle with Grace (Tracy Scoggins) as revelations of their secret past threaten to change Dante's Cove forever.
